Openreach - Temporary Road Closure - Windmill Hill & Pye Corner, Ulcombe - 15th December 2025 (Maidstone District)
Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Windmill Hill & Pye Corner, Ulcombe, from 15th December 2025 with estimated completion by 15th December 2025.
Windmill Hill will be closed from in the vicinity of Orchard House to the junction with Pye Corner, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Diversion 1 for any through traffic is via Windmill Hill, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Lenham Road, Eastwood Road and vice versa.
Diversion 2 for any through traffic is via Windmill Hill, Lenham Road, Ulcombe Hill, The Street and vice versa.
Pye Corner will be closed between the junction with Windmill Hill and the junction with Headcorn Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Ulcombe Hill, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Lenham Road, Eastwood Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
These closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow pole testing works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Openreach.
